How this font generator works
Social apps don't let you choose a font. They only show plain text. This tool gets around that by swapping each letter for a look-alike character from the Unicode standard, the same character set every phone and computer already understands. So ๐ฏ๐ผ๐น๐ฑ here is not formatting. It's a different set of letters that happens to look bold, which is why it survives a copy and paste.
- Type or paste your text in the box above.
- Scroll the list, or use the filters to narrow it to bold, cursive, bubble or cute styles.
- Tap Copy (or tap the text itself) and paste it wherever you like.
Where these fonts work
| Platform | Bio / profile | Posts & captions | Names |
| Instagram | Yes | Yes | Display name yes, @handle no |
| Facebook | Yes | Yes | Usually blocked |
| TikTok | Yes | Yes | Display name yes |
| Discord | Yes | Yes | Nickname yes |
| X (Twitter) | Yes | Yes | Display name yes |
Handles and usernames (the part after @) only accept plain letters, numbers, dots and underscores, so styled text is rejected there on every platform.
Use them sparinglyScreen readers often read these characters one by one ("mathematical bold capital Aโฆ") or skip them. Keep the important words, like your name or a call to action, in plain text, and use styled fonts for a headline or accent.
Questions
Are these real fonts?
No. They're Unicode characters that look like styled letters. That's why they keep their look after you paste them, while a real font change would be lost.
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The device reading the text has no glyph for that character. Bold, italic and cursive styles have the widest support. Squares and some decorations may not show on older Android phones.
Can I use these fonts in Word or Google Docs?
You can paste them, but for documents it's better to pick a real font from the font menu. Unicode letters can break spell-check, search and screen readers.
Is it free?
Yes. There's no sign-up and nothing to install. Everything runs in your browser and your text never leaves your device.
